File Formats Accepted:

• Preferred: .AI, .PDF, .PNG (transparent background)

• Optional: .JPG (background may be required)

No Need to Pre-Press or Pre-Iron: Pre-pressing to remove moisture is optional. Perform a pre-press only if desired.

Position Your Design: Carefully align your transfer on the desired location of your item. Generally, heat-resistant tape is not needed for flat heat presses, but it is recommended for transfers onto hats or when using an iron to ensure the transfer stays in place. Use our DTF Alignment Ruler Set for more precise positioning.

Press: Apply medium pressure at 310°F / 155°C for 15 seconds. While more heat, pressure, or time (within reason) won't damage the transfer, excessive heat can harm your garment. Test first and use parchment paper or a protective guard sheet to protect the garment from direct heat.

Cool and Peel: Allow the transfer to cool until it is cool to the touch (at least 15-30 seconds). For faster cooling, use our Fast Cool Peel Air Transfer Blower. Once cool, lift a corner of the transfer and peel back gently. Ensure every part of the design adheres to the item. If any part does not transfer:

1. If the design was cool when peeling, increase heat, pressure, or time and press again (+5-10 seconds).

2. If necessary, increase the temperature in 15°F increments until the transfer is successful. Repeated pressing will not damage the transfer.

Final Press & Washing Instructions: Cover the design with included parchment paper or a single layer of t-shirt material and press again for 15 seconds to soften the design, increase durability, and remove shine. For a shiny finish, use a protective guard sheet during the final press. When washing, turn the garment inside out, wash in cold water, and dry on low heat or hang dry.
